Five years in Thailand between 1993 and 1998 with an analogue camera was a dream and a decisive experience for the years that followed. It influenced my personality - I learned to be patient and it affected greatly my vision of life in general. During these years, I worked in the human rights and humanitarian field. This allowed me to get closer to people and visit places I would never have discovered otherwise. Every encounter I made became important and learning Thai also participated to the feeling of proximity I experienced. Whenever I go back, one thing strikes me: the gentleness and the warmth of the people and the fact that I feel always very welcomed.
